Greenwich: The Gem on the Thames Known for its maritime history and as the home of Greenwich Prime Meridian, London's outer borough of Greenwich offers so much for first-time and repeat visitors. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997, this ancient city can charm guests of all ages and interests. The tour will take us through the heart of this historic city where we will visit some of "The Royal Borough's" most enchanting sites including the Britain's equivalent to the Sistine Chapel, the Queen's House, and the delightful Greenwich Market and many more. Following the approximately two hour walking tour, we will travel to my home and celebrate Greenwich's link to the Great British Tradition of Afternoon Tea. Together we will prepare British scones, cakes and savories and then share an afternoon tea while we will sit and reflect on the lovely day. Included in the tour:
