Borough to Rotherhithe: The Market to The Mayflower

Borough Market is without a doubt a food lovers paradise. This market, which has run nearly continuously for more than a thousand years, is a highlight of any tour south of the river.  In addition to offering the finest culinary delights Britain and the world can supply, this iconic market has an ethos we can all support.  The Market call itself "a beacon for sustainable food production, short supply chains and social connection, drawing visitors from far and wide. " Now who doesn't want to experience that. 

From this historic yet modern market, we'll walk along The Thames getting amazing views of world-famous landmarks like The Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, and Western Europe's tallest building, The Shard.. We'll end in one of my favorite out of the way London neighborhoods, Rotherhithe.   

We will finish our tour at the historic Mayflower Pub where you could choose to follow up your tour with a pint and a plate of fish and chips on the deck overlooking the Themes River.*
